Summary: Don't believe the picture! or, A Lesson in Expectations.
Comment: I finally received this item after waiting two weeks for it. Bottom line: Don't buy it unless it's on sale (I did!); it isn't worth $300.
I measured the pearls and they are all about 7-8mm, not 9-10mm as claimed.
They are also decidely not round.
They are, however, white, so at least the description from Macy's is partly right.
I haven't decided if I'm going to keep them or not. This has been a rather disappointing experience. If Macy's had described the item honestly it would be a different story.
