Customer Rating: Summary: OK for the price Comment: Installation a snap. Sound OK. Only problem is pressing the flash button when cradling handset between shoulder and ear. Display could be a little brighter.
Customer Rating: Summary: not worth it Comment: I was looking for a simple wall phone. The backlight does not work, there for I have no caller id or last call incoming. I read the bad reviews and thought I may overlook them for the price, it is way too annoying. I find myself looking for another phone while in the room with this one. The faults expressed in the reviews are real and very annoying.
Customer Rating: Summary: Less than expected Comment: I can only reiterate what others have said here, though the thick profile doesn't particularly bother me, and I've had no problem with the on-hook mount, etc. For me, the major disappointment is the unlit Caller ID screen (given my kitchen wall-mount position, I cannot read it without the help of a flashlight). The unlit kepad is also disappointing, as even my 20-year-old corded phones had lighted keypads (and with no need for battery support). I ordered this phone in conjuction with the AT&T SL82318 DECT 6.0 cordless system only because I preferred to locate the cordless base unit in my study and wanted a corded caller ID-enabled phone for the kitchen wall-plate. And while I'm disappointed in some ways, I really can't complain for the price. The problem is that corded phones have become passé, and none of the manufacturers are developing new, feature-rich corded phones.
Customer Rating: Summary: Nice Phone to hang on the kitchem wall. Comment: The voice tone is very clear, the ring can be set to loud and the caller ID is a bonus. The receiver is easy to knock down so it is best installed in an "out of the way" location. A great phone that works when the electricity is out.
Customer Rating: Summary: Product Returned..no thanks Comment: We were looking forward to using this as our main
kitchen phone...it had many features for few bucks. Instead, it
had to be returned. We could not call out on it and incoming
calls were very faint, almost imposssible to hear. I was truly
disappointed as it is so difficult to find a good landline phone
nowadays. Test it out carefully once you receive it. Don't let it
sit idle in the box.
