My only wish is that it were abit lighter but I think the only way will occur is if they switch to smaller batteries however then the cost of batteries would be more and they wouldn't last as long probably. Anyway I like it especially the two light feature. As for the glare I just move it around, the other way I get rid of the glare when I am reading in bed at night is to balance it between the pillows so it faces the Kindle screen. You have to clip it on to your jacket...and it dented my jacket. It doesn't store all that well. But it is what it is. I think any book light could work, not specifically designed for Kindle.
