Summary: Eye Candy
Comment: I never missed an episode when this was on TV and I plan to buy a copy when it's released. That in mind, it is with a great fondness in my heart that I say that this show is one of those car wrecks that you're embarrassed to admit to people that you like. Very entertaining and fun to watch (Josef gets all the best lines) but Mick gets his behind handed to him at least once an episode, causing one of my friends to remark that he's the only vampire in history who really should carry pepper spray.

Summary: I just do not know what is the problem with CBS
Comment: This not just one excellent, original show CBS has cancelled. By count this is at least number two in the very recent history. It seems as though in order to be a successful series on CBS, the letters "CSI" must be tacked on somewhere in the title of the show. Jericho was one of the best shows on when it was cancelled not once, as painful as that was but twice.

I cannot say enough about the show MOONLIGHT. It was original in the way it showed that being a vampire is not all good as some shows have attemped to show. You lose all your loved ones, at some point you have to end relationships/friendships because the lack of aging cannot be explained. The relationship between Mick and Beth was shown with sensitivity, and the yearning that only a relationship with these complications can be no matter how much they love each other.

I am more disapointed this show has been cancelled, as much as any other, in the years I have watched television.
GO, CSI MOONLIGHT AND CSI JERICHO!!

Summary: Hooray! Moonlight lives (a little longer)!
Comment: Unlike the "vamps" around which the show centered, Moonlight had an inexplicably short life (CBS execs=imbeciles). Along with the "Sarah Connor Chronicles" (which did survive into another season), Moonlight was far and away the best program last season! Clever, creepy and charismatic all at once, with its old detective movie overtones blended smartly with modern settings and music, it seemed to have a little something for everybody (perhaps not quite enough gore for the true vampire afficionado, but, hey, it was prime-time TV)!

This fan is thrilled to be able to own the full season of shows, and hopes that good sales of the DVD set might do what surely one of the largest fan protests since the cancellation of the original 'Star Trek' series failed to do: resurrect the show (either on another network, or a series of made-for-TV movies).

Summary: CBS really screwed up yet again and misjudged their audience!
Comment: The sad thing when CBS suits pulled this show, they're excuse was they wanted to find a show that pulled in more woman....HELLLLLLLLLLLLO??Did any of the so-called brains behind programming over there pay any attention to the ratings? And how many women were watching this show..mainly due to Alex? And then they put another show in its place and now thats been axed too.....I really have my doubts about the intelligence behind the CBS programming from the Prez all the way down. Had they kept this show on--following Ghost Whisperer (which was the perfect match of two shows) they'd have a bigger following especially on the heels of the giant sucesses of True Blood and Twilight. I thought these top-paid brass at the Networks were supposed to be smart enough to think these things through...or maybe they are so much like our soon to be former President of the US--shoot first then deal with the problem....so take a show off due to just being panicky...then find out later you shot yourself in the foot...or got a big neck bite!!! And could have had a goldmine! Man good thing Seinfeld never ended up on CBS--those idiots would have cancelled it after two episodes!!! CBS is the loser here.

Editorial Reviews:

Any private eye knows a lot about other people's secrets. L.A. private eye Mick St. John (Alex O'Loughlin) has a secret of his own. He’s a vampire, dwelling in a covert netherworld complicated by friendship with an undead finance honcho (Jason Dohring), memories of the alluring ex- wife (Shannyn Sossamon) who turned him into a vampire, and a relationship with a human (Sophia Myles) he feels drawn to protect – and maybe to love. But no matter how tempting, Mick knows a vampire-human romance is eternally dangerous. This 16-episode, 4-disc set of the series voted the 2008 People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama is a sure entertainment bet for all who like their vampire stories sleek, intense and passionate.
