Comment: My husband was looking for a simple silver tie bar. He loses them all the time - don't ask me how. Given his loss rate, he was perfectly willing to have a "silver tone" tie bar. That's not how I roll. These tie bars - I bought two - are perfect for both of us. Affordable enough for him to lose, elegant and classic enough for me to feel like he's appropriately dressed for work. Once he goes through this batch, I'll be ordering more.

Comment: The tie bar is approximately the size shown... I wasn't expecting too much due to the low price and was suprised by the small size of the item. However, the tie bar does the trick. It may rest a little higher on your tie in order to clip to your shirt but I've had many complements.
