I've spent that much money replacing garnet earrings that constantly broke, lost prongs or had much lower quality stones. When I got them I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the stones (which is a good thing to me), at their sparkling clarity, at the solidity of their sterling silver manufacture and the perfection of their color. The blue topaz are of a pure, icy blue. I was also very pleased to find that the set comes in a classy, small blue velvet drawstring bag inside a matching jeweler's box. When I saw the set for sale at $19.99 I immediately bought two as Christmas gift for daughter's-in-law. It would be hard to find a single pair of genuine gemstone earrings for that price, let alone a set of three pair! Customer Rating: Summary: Great for the $ Comment: I bought these for my 11 year old after she had her ears pierced. She wanted something that was easy to put in herself, and these fit the bill. They are reasonably well made for inexpensive jewelry and she has had many compliments on them. I think they are a little large for her, but she likes them a lot. It seemed like a good deal to me at the time. The stones of the earrings are all beautiful. They look real. Their oval cut is brilliant.
